Review: Dreams of Thunder

Dreams of Thunder by Christian Cura
Dreams #2
Urban Fantasy

Magical outlaws roam free on the West Coast. The enforcers are stretched thin in their efforts to stem the tide of chaos. The Council headquarters is on the brink of assault, and the lives of the Council members hang in the balance. At the center of it all, is Saba Qureshi, a woman scorned by the draconian measures of the Council. They executed her grandfather and robbed her family of their status and fortune. Now Saba is coming for them and she’s not alone…

3 out of 5 fairies

Dreams of Thunder is intriguing. You get drawn in from the start to a story of revenge and love and magic. I really liked the premise behind this, and loved the start. That first chapter - WOW. I just wish the momentum had continued through the whole story. Things sort of slowed down when we met Dani. Overall an enjoyable read, just wish the pacing had been consistently faster. Perfect if you enjoy urban fantasy with a dash of revenge.
