Kid's Korner: Tiny T. Rex and the Impossible Hug

Tiny T. Rex and the Impossible Hug
Written by
Illustrated by

Meet Tiny, a diminutive but determined T-Rex in a big world, as he embraces all obstacles against him in his quest to learn how to hug.

Fairy out of Fairy

Pointy needs a hug and Tiny wants to help! In this adorable little book, Tiny asks for advice from his family on how to hug. Filled with humor from the cucumber juice drinking aunt to his brother “Rawrie”, Tiny T. Rex is such a fun read, for both baby and mommy.

What I love about this is that instead of just telling Tiny hugging isn’t his strong suit and focusing on helping Pointy another way, Tiny doesn’t rest until he’s figured out how to do it. The subtle message is to don’t give up just because you’re not especially suited for a task. If that’s what you want to do, then do everything you can to make it as best as you can!

The only thing I wish about this book was that it had a board book printing so I could let my daughter play with the book like she wants to.
