Check It Out: Serving the Scales

Serving the Scales by Niki McAlister
Shifter Adult Romance

In a world where elves are born and raised for enslavement, Clarissa had always followed the status quo. She studied hard, honed her skills and perfected her talents in preparation for the day she would be sold at auction and her new life would begin, all the while harboring a secret that could end up costing her her life.

Everything goes according to plan until she meets her new master, a chiseled, provocative naga named Junard, the head of operations for the breeding program in the Naga kingdom. Clarissa must adapt quickly, but she soon finds herself caught in a perfect storm of problems with no conceivable way out. Can she successfully assimilate without losing it all?

*This is part one of an ongoing Trilogy*
*This tale is heavily laced with adult themes and sexual situations. It was written for adults.*

4 out of 5 fairies

Serving the Scales will light your inner fire. I may or may not have turned on the AC while reading this. Clarissa is an amazing heroine and if I had met Junard I think I would've followed him to the ends of the earth and back. A great story with heart pounding, heat-raising descriptions that anyone who loves spicy shifter romances can enjoy.
