Horror and sex – I have to admit I was intrigued. I love horror, but I don’t think I’ve ever come across another book that advertised as containing both. Let’s break down my review. The narrators (Lauren Ezzo, Kristin James, J.S. Arquin, Lisa Zimmerman, and Eric London) did a great job of conveying the creep factor. They each had a unique voice, and really drew me into the story (no monotone deliveries). The stories were much darker, creepier, and enticing than I was expecting, and I loved it! I was definitely not prepared for what I got, and I honestly think listening to the story conveyed a level of creepiness that I wouldn’t have gotten from a copy of the book (although I wouldn’t mind adding it to my bookshelves). Overall an absolutely bone-chilling experience that had me looking over my shoulder while listening in the bright afternoon sun. Cannot recommend enough for horror junkies like me!
