This was an interesting mystery that will keep you hooked. My biggest complaint is at times the descriptions were just too heavy – they weighed down the story instead of enhancing it. Pierce and Soliz are interesting characters, and seem like a bit of an odd pairing, which made watching them solve the mystery more interesting. The characters (including the murderer) are well fleshed out, and feel like they could easily be real people. A must read for murder mystery lovers that enjoy odd detective duos.

Larry Enmon is retired from the U.S. Secret Service, where he acted as liaison between the USSS and FBI, working in the Joint Terrorism Task Force. He also received training from the CIA in the investigation and production of weapons of mass destruction.
In addition to his political thrillers, he is the author of the Rob and Frank mystery series.
