Dear Diary: June 4, 1992   There is no one like Hosea. Where I fall short, he fills in my spaces. Besides Daddy, he’s my first love and best friend. He genuinely wants to be with my crazy behind self, and I promise you―there was no bullying, bribery, or blackmail involved on my part. Hosea came along willingly and by his own contentment. I can’t keep a friend to save my life, but Hosea Felix has stuck like glue. He doesn’t care that I’m ratchet, common, and unworthy; being Christ-like, he covers me. We’ve loved each other from day one…but sometimes I wonder, what’s love got to do with it…you know? I put Hosea through hell, and as a dog returns to its own puke, he keeps coming back. A tragic romance. I don’t deserve him…and I often wonder, how did I make a friend like Zee? Lucky, I guess.  Go-Go
