I loved the Mafiosa Princess series, and this standalone is the perfect accompaniment to it. The story starts off without much heat, but a lot of tension – and we get to see a new side of Angelo. Although you can read this at any time during the series, I’d recommend reading it afterward, so you can get to know Angelo’s character. Catalina is an amazing FMC, and my heart really went out to her. It’s incredibly stressful trying to deal with a crazy, stalker ex, and she doesn’t let it break her spirit. Getting to know Angelo better was a nice bonus, and getting to see sides of him I never thought we would. The story itself has perfect pacing, and the spice is at the perfect level and slips naturally into the story. Definitely recommend if you enjoy spicy mafia romances!
