This is the first book in an amazing journey. with lots of twists, turns and some sexy time too.

If you’re looking for a RH with a great plot line, some great sex scenes that don’t over power the story line and a kick ass main character then this book is for you.

We join our Main Charter, Thalia on a journey that starts off in and interesting way. While some may have a hard time connecting to the MC at first because she seems a little contradictory. I personally think that the way she is portrayed is an amazing representation of what was going on in her life as she was growing up. So while she is absolutely kick ass bitch when it comes defending herself and leading, she is still very naive when it comes to matters of the heart and her self-worth.  In this book you get to meet two of the men that will be in this harem, and they are some delicious men at that – for the first book there isn’t a lot in the sex scene department, but keep reading because Serena makes it worth it, I promise. All in all as starter book for a longer series its amazing and a wonderful indication of how the stories will unfold. You get a look at each character’s perspective, but never really lose that connection to the MC which I feel can sometimes happen in multiple perspective stories, but this does a good job of moving forward and giving need insight.

This whole series has a fantastic take on the supernatural world and some interesting new ideas when it comes to explaining hierarchy, myths and legends. Its definitely a book that will be on my read again list.
