I loved this collection. Usually in an anthology with different authors there will be a few stories that just don’t click with you, especially when they span such a wide variety of sub-genres, but I can genuinely say I enjoyed every story in this book. They may not have been full novels, but I quickly became so immersed in each world and so invested in the MCs stories that it was like a shock of cold water when I came back to the real world. I can’t wait to explore more writing by each of these authors!

I did enjoy reading this, but the stories were pretty evenly divided between hit-and-miss for me. They were all enjoyable reads, some were just harder for me to get into than others. They were definitely all unique, and I think there’s probably something for every fantasy lover as they cover a wide range of styles and sub-genres. Definitely worth reading.

I loved this collection, and I definitely found some new authors to read. I liked being able to skip around and find a story that clicked with me. I enjoyed all the stories, and loved a few. The writing is descriptive and you kind of get lost in the stories. I would love to have spent a little longer in the worlds introduced here, and I have to admit I was a little sad when I finished the book. I look forward to reading more by the authors in this collection.

Let me start off by saying if one story doesn’t quite capture your attention, don’t let that stop you from checking out the other stories. Out of these, there were definitely some that were hit-and-miss for me. Some edged closer to horror than fantasy, but I still enjoyed them. ‘Kitchen Magic’ was definitely my favorite story, and reminded me of a fairy tale. A decent collection and a great way to expose yourself to new authors.
