Escaping Conviction is a suspenseful, second chance romance with legal, military, and dark themes. It is the first in the Conviction series of interconnected standalones which have an overarching plot throughout the series, but no cliffhanger for the couple in this book.

While Escaping Conviction has an HEA, this read is not for the faint of heart. The Conviction series should be read by mature readers only (18+) and contains sexually explicit scenes, along with descriptions of human trafficking, drugs, strong language, and physical and sexual violence. Reader discretion is advised.

Sassy, Smart, Sexy and Suspenseful this book with have you turning pages faster than double taking at the hotties it contains. Not only is this book a fantastic Romance the plot line is absolutely stunning. Okay so lets get it broken down.

World Building – While this story takes place in the world as we know it, the intricacy involved with the multiple groups is quite fantastic. There’s law, criminal, military and special security and you can tell the writing and detail are very well thought out.

Character Development – Okay… wow! This story is a second chance romance, and the author does an amazing job of giving background detail without overwhelming. Not only to you get a great dive into the current MCs but you also get a wonderful sense of the upcoming stories as well.

Plot line — Can i just say freaking goodness!!!! Ya’ll the inter workings and lines in this story are phenomenal, *tiny spoiler* This story deals with human trafficking, not only is this incredibly well written, keeps you on your toes and very suspenseful, the romances flows and fits the story without feeling forced or taking away anything from the central plot theme.

Final Thoughts: This book was incredibly well written with a central plot theme that will keep you engaged not only for this book, but for the planned books after. The characters are interconnected enough so you won’t have to lose the connection with them, which as we all know is a fantastic thing in multi- character series. This is one of the books that I will be physically adding to my library. You need to read this!
