This is a whole new take on what a Nightmares. M Sinclair continues to amaze me with her take on anything and everything. Let me tell you something every single nightmare in this book is something I would love to dream about. This books is the story of a human among nightmares come to life and she couldn’t be happier, and I was currently very happy to live vicariously through her. Let’s break it down
Plot Line: The story follows a FMC who is part of a team of nightmares that travel the world rescuing other nightmares from the clutches of humans who would have them killed. The plot is two fold. The first plot focus on the romantic development between the team. The second is focused on the War with humans and the current nightmare they need to rescue.
World Building: Mimicking the world we live but adding nightmares come to life this world is fascinating. While we don’t get a large overall picture, you do get a wonderful breakdown of the place in which nightmares are forced to live because of the way humans treat them.
Relationship Building: TENSION TENSION TENSION!!!! The fire and passion that build between these characters is enough to set your sheets on fire. I adore M Sinclair’s relationship because even though there are multiple connections each is unique in its own way.
Character building: All of the characters are very well explained giving wonderful background information while still leaving some for you to find out along the way. The way that she portrays the nightmares into human form is phenomenal and very creative as all of them have a breakdown and hierarchy that is equally as fascinating.
I can not wait for the next book and the series and will be ordering this in paperback when it is available!! If you like paranormal romances this is one you can not pass up! Happy Reading
