This definitely grabs your attention from the outset. I’ve enjoyed following Lynette, Baxter and Eirlon over the last two books, and getting to continue their adventures with them has been a delight. I think to really appreciate the full depth of the world and characters you need to start with the previous stories in the series. Although the princess kept trapped in a tower guarded by a dragon can be a bit cliché, I loved Golan’s twist on it. There’s a lot on the line, and you’ll be turning pages, wanting to know what’s coming next. Definitely recommend for fantasy adventure lovers!

It was his three daughters who reintroduced him to the world of fantasy fiction.
