If you’re looking for sweet, romantic, sparkly vampires, you’re looking in the wrong place. If you’re looking for hot, lusty, and at times brutal vampires, you’ve found your book. There are some VERY hot, sexy scenes, but also some that had a bit of gore. I genuinely enjoyed the characters, and thought that they acted true to the motivations one would expect based on how they’re originally introduced. I thought Kemp did an excellent job of bringing the atmosphere to life, really immersing the reader. Definitely a great read, with a few awkward transitions. Overall, was absolutely a sinful read!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Adrik Kemp is an accomplished author, lyricist and screenwriter. He has a BA Communications in Screenwriting and an MA in Creative Writing from the University of Technology, Sydney. His screenplays have been shortlisted for Project Greenlight Australia and pitched to markets in Australia and the United States (with Apocryphal Pictures).
Adrik’s short stories have been published all over the world, in places such as Aurealis Magazine, OUTStanding & Transmundane Press. He has two erotic vampire novellas with Pride Publishing, but don’t hold that against him.

Adrik is a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community with a vested interest in his community culture. He also works as a copywriter and editor with Sydney’s Queer Screen, hosts of the Sydney Mardi Gras Film Festival and the Queer Screen Film Festival. He is proud to be an active part of the community. He also writes genre short stories, usually with an LGBTIQ+ perspective. He identifies as gay but doesn’t mind being called queer, and happily lives in Sydney with his husband, Carl De Villa.
