Anna Cooper wants what every mom wants – human or shifter – a happy, safe home for her young son. Even if it means working multiple jobs to make ends meet. Her struggle is compounded by the fact that she gave up her family ties and her cougar pride in order to escape her abusive ex-husband. So when she meets Cam and her cougar insists he is their one true mate, instead of rejoicing that she found him, she balks. She trusted the wrong man once – she won’t do it again. Even if he can kiss her senseless.
Cameron Wyborn came to town with one thing in mind – reconnect with his bear so he can shift again. But after months of trying everything his doctors recommended, he faces the possibility that he may never shift again. Meeting Anna stirs powerful feelings inside him and he cannot deny he is drawn to her. But his need for control overrides his belief in destined mates.
When Anna’s past comes back to haunt her, Cam is forced to decide if he is strong enough to surrender to fate in order to save them both.
Dena Garson is an award winning author of paranormal, steampunk, fantasy, and sci-fi romance. She holds a BBA and MBA in Business and works in the wacky world of quality and process improvement. Making up her own reality on paper is what keeps her sane.
She is the mother of two rowdy boys and two rambunctious cats (AKA the fuzzy jerks). When she isn’t writing you can find her at the sewing machine or stringing beads. She is also a devoted Whovian and Dallas Cowboys fan.
