This was a captivating fantasy set in a beautiful world with interesting characters. Neria lives in a society that draws clear lines between those it deems worthy of respect and reverence and those that it sees as worthless. Neria lives a blessed life in some ways, but it’s more of a gilded cage. Her life is turned upside down, and she has to flee when she learns she isn’t one of the pure society reveres. Her subsequent journey and experiences will keep the reader flipping pages for hours. An imagination sparking coming-of-age fantasy that many readers are sure to enjoy.
