After the way the previous book ended, I was dying to dive into this one. I was not disappointed. My heart absolutely broke for Ian and Adam and the situation they found themselves in. My hatred only grew for Katherine (which I didn’t think was possible). Don’t be mistaken, she’s a complex character with a history and motivations of her own. She’s not just a boring, textbook villain. I was on the edge of my seat, and couldn’t read fast enough, trying to find out what would happen next. There were a few twists I couldn’t have predicted in a million years, and everything moved along at a smooth pace. Biggest complaint – I need to know what happens after this book ends!!! You absolutely need to start with book one in the series, but it’s worth it. The story just keeps getting better with each new installment.
