I loved this one – it was a nice twist on the “rock star” romance. I loved Peter the moment we met him, he’s such a sweetheart, even though he’s a vampire, and they’re not known for being sweet or kind in Jenna’s world. Even though Jenna doesn’t have any special powers, this kind of gave me True Blood vibes, and I’m not sure why. (Maybe Jenna’s trusting nature and innocence?) The story itself moves along smoothly, if a bit slowly at times, and there are characters you’ll love and ones you’ll love to hate (Jenna’s ex). The perfect paranormal romance to kick off the summer with!

This is the perfect sexy beach read – four sexy supernatural guys who all want to be with and protect the same girl? Yes please. I can’t say the guy’s approach to everything was the best, but it certainly led to some interesting situations. I knew from the opening chapter that I was in for a wild ride, and I wasn’t disappointed. Carter certainly knows how to bring the heat, and it was impossible for me to pick a favorite out of the guys, they’re each so unique, and get you heating up in their own ways. A paranormal reverse harem with a twist, this will have you enthralled from page one.

This started out sweet and cute and took quite the turn, getting my heart pounding in no time. Andromeda is rebellious, smart, stubborn, and loyal, and I just loved her. Roan is charming and protective, definitely adding him to my favorite book boyfriends list! Ellis did a great job of bringing them both to life, and giving the reader insight into who they are and the lives they live, while building tension and moving the story along smoothly. I got so caught up I flew through this in one sitting. Perfect if you’re looking for a sweet yet still heart-pounding paranormal romance.

This was sexy, intriguing, and unique. I’ve read vampire romances before, but nothing like this – I was blown away by the direction this took. Lister did an excellent job of building tension and heating things up. Alba is a great character, and I really enjoyed the contrast between Lorne and Jamie. They’re so different, but so right for Alba in their own ways. I won’t give anything away, but if you’re looking for a paranormal romance that flirts with the darker side, you’ve found your next read!
