On the shores of Cordacia, Tama believes she has left Khione and its dangers behind. When Tama, Liseli, and Isabelle go to the Amphitheater to watch the Games, corrupted creatures strike, and Tama leaps into action. Alongside Cordacia’s finest warriors, she quells the threat, but no one is sure who triggered the attack in the first place. Her only lead is a mysterious woman who appears right before Malsumi’s minions emerge. Who is she, and why has she aligned herself with the dark goddess? More importantly, will Tama find out before it’s too late?

This was a magical adventure with a mystery twist. I loved Tama, she’s a great MC, and easy to like. I found the world she inhabits fascinating, and I’d love to be able to explore more of it. The magic system is interesting, and I loved all the different things woven in to make the world more fantastical. The character development was done really well, and I thought the MCs all had good depth. The imagery is quite vivid, and you really get immersed in the story quite quickly. I was just as curious about who was summoning the dark creatures as Tama, and enjoyed watching the mystery unfold. Although you don’t necessarily need to read book one before this, I’ve added it to my TBR, because I’m very curious about Tama’s life before this latest installment.
Christian Cura is a new author who also has a background in graphic design. He graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Art and Visual Technology. Inspired by the likes of Tolkien, J.K. Rowling, and Robert Jordan, it has always been a dream of his to write and publish a novel of his own. In 2019, he achieved that goal with his first book Dreams of Fire.
His most recent work, Temple of Ice, is perhaps his most notable achievement, garnering four and five-star reviews on Amazon. He currently lives in Northern Virginia where he balances his day job with writing. When Cura is not working on his next book, he can be found creating artwork or getting beaten up at his MMA gym.
