This was a beautiful poetry collection, and it’s found a special place in my heart. I liked the way the book was broken down, into Birth Mother, Adoptive Mother, and Child. The feeling and tone of each of the poems shifted with the sections, evoking different emotions. I can’t say I had a favorite poem, but I can say I was glad to go along on this poetically presented journey.

Celaine Charles lives in the Pacific Northwest where she teaches elementary school, writes poetry and fiction, and blogs about her writing journey on her site, Steps In Between. The world around inspires her craft, and she thrives encouraging others to follow in their own creative paths.
