It’s official, I love Callisto! She’s such an amazing FMC, smart, determined, and skilled at what she does. This was a continuation of her story, and I’m dying to read another installment! My heart absolutely broke for the things Callisto has witnessed and lived through – but I admire her strength. She’s after revenge, but I don’t know anyone who could say she isn’t justified. The world-building is great, and seeing everything through Callisto’s eyes gives you a peek into a different side than the original series did. (But I am loving this spinoff series!) You’ll be rooting from Callisto from the start. Although you can read this as a standalone, I highly recommend reading book one, you’ll get a better idea of Callisto’s character. The story moves along at a good pace, and the descriptions are so vivid, you might as well be there, a fly on the wall, watching it unfold. If you enjoy strong FMCs, a captivating plot, and excellent world-building, you need to read this!
