I can’t believe we’re already at the end of this dark, epic, horrormance. Throughout the series I’ve been thoroughly impressed with Alleva’s ability to balance horror with romance, and this final installment was no exception. I will warn you, the descriptions are very vivid, and there’s quite a bit of gore and death waiting for you, but won’t go further than that for fear of giving spoilers. (I will say, however, that I loved the ending). Throughout the story, it’s like there’s an invisible thread pulling you forward, making it difficult to set the book down for even a few moments. This is the perfect quartet for all the horror lovers out there who don’t mind heavy gore, so if you were waiting to start the series until it was complete, grab book one and start reading!
