I absolutely loved this story, and Tavia’s flying squirrel sidekick will always have a piece of my heart. You’re hooked from the start, and watching Tavia and Lucius slowly get to know each other as they worked together was fun. They don’t start off as more than partners, and the shift towards the romance felt natural, even though that wasn’t the main storyline. The pacing is perfect, and I enjoyed the heist side of the plot a lot. I will admit the slow-burn was killer sometimes. This is a fairly clean romantasy, so if anything more than kissing and implied things is your jam, you need to grab this. Definitely recommend, and I’d love to see further exploits of these two in the future!
