This book is, if I had to condense it to a single word, powerful. You might want to keep some tissues nearby when you read it, because there will be moments when you tear up. Nell is a strong heroine, and I don’t just mean her strength of character. The adversity she faces is just unfathomable to me, and yet she keeps going. I can only hope that I meet whatever life throws at me with even some of her determination. If you’re looking for a light read, you’re looking in the wrong place. This book is heavy, emotional, and captivating. A must-read if you’re looking for a book that will touch your soul.
