This was a fascinating story – from first arriving in America, we get to watch as a family puts down roots and grows through the generations. Life wasn’t easy, especially for immigrants around the beginning of the 20th century in America. The joy, the hardships, the love – we get to share in it all. A wonderful peak into a family’s history, that anyone interested in multi-generational historical fiction is sure to enjoy.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Hi. I’m Shae Bryant. A long time ago, someone gave a power metal lover, RPG player, and LARPer the idea to write fiction. Previously, I wrote non fiction for lifestyle, beauty and gaming. I took my love of history and fantasy and penned my first masterpiece. A masterpiece no one wanted to read. Since then, I have become the author of the Appalachian Roots series, a historical fiction series based on my own family’s records and stories. I am also the author of the upcoming Cael City Chronicles, a dystopian fantasy series. I enjoy RPGs, motorcycles, getting more tattoos, music and hiking. I live in Denver, Colorado, with my family and our dog named Zero.
