Death & Dragon
by J. Steven Lamperti

Dragons and dream storms are threatening to destroy Liamec. Is Anise the only one who can save her magical land?

Anise has finished training in the magical arts at the Academy, the school where the wizards of Liamec learn to control their powers. But, one of the school’s masters, the villainous Lorenzo, has banished her to the realm of dreams, trapping her there. When she finally wakes from her years of dreaming, the Kingdom of Liamec has changed.

Dragons are raiding the northern parts of the kingdom. Dream storms shake the fabric of the land. Anise is still being hunted by Lorenzo’s nightmare beasts, twins to the ones her uncle fought in the village of Hero long ago. Can Anise stop the storms, brave the dangers, and save the kingdom?

Anise must return to the realm of dream, defeat Lorenzo, outmaneuver the dragons, and rescue Liamec from certain doom!

In the sweeping conclusion to the award-winning Channeler Trilogy, J Steven Lamperti wraps up the threads spun in the earlier books. If you like epic fantasy, dragons and divination, or just a well-told fantasy story, Death & Dragon is the book for you.

Read Death & Dragon for the riveting conclusion to the Channeler Trilogy!

5 out of 5 fairies

Wow, this was a great way to close out The Channeler trilogy! If it’s been awhile since you read book two, there’s a quick recap at the start to remind you of what happened. If you haven’t read the first two books, I highly recommend going back, so you can have a better understanding of the world and characters. I was so excited to dive back in and see what would happen next on Anise’s journey. I won’t give any spoilers, but I loved the way the dream world was described, and how we get to travel with Anise there while she lays sleeping. The plot moves along smoothly, and we get to see where everything that began in book one has brought us. The end of the story will leave you satisfied – no unanswered questions, although you may be reluctant to leave characters you’ve come to know and love behind.
