This was such an adorable book. The illustrations are cute, and will easily capture young readers’ eyes. The story is easy to read, and so sweet. It’ll easily open up the possibility for caregivers to talk to kids about important topics, like solving problems, working together, and how love can take different forms. This isn’t a story that’s always happy and upbeat, and you might find yourself tearing up a bit while reading it, but overall it’s really a heartwarming book. I definitely recommend you read the page about the real Nattie at the start of the book before the story begins, it’ll certainly bring a smile to your face!
