Just a quick note – you should definitely read book one, as this picks up where that left off, and you’ll feel a little lost without doing that. There’s more danger than ever surrounding Eva and Cillian, but the fire between them is still going strong. Morgan did an amazing job transporting me back to their world, and it was easy to slip back into their story. The imagery is vivid enough that you feel like you’re standing right beside them as everything unfolds, and the spice isn’t the only thing that will get your heart racing. There are some moments that will have you tearing up, just to warn you. By the time you reach the end, you’ll feel a sense of completeness, although I was reluctant to leave behind the world, Eva, and Cillian. I cannot recommend this enough for anyone that wants a semi-spicy story that will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions, but leave you without lasting questions by the end.
