An amazing collection of fiction that ranges from spicy to sweet, and doesn’t disappoint. Each story is a fairly quick read, and perfect for anyone who doesn’t have much time to sit and read, as you can squeeze them in those little moments throughout the day. I loved the introduction to the stories by the author at the start, it gave me an idea of what to expect, and if you’re wanting to avoid anything that you might find in these pages, or just curious about what you’re about to read, then I recommend reading it. Each story has amazing imagery, and you can see and feel the stories unfold around you, even the quite short ones. The stories that really stood out to me were A Tale As Old As Time, I desperately need this one expanded into a full length book. I want to know where it really started, and where it ends. Spicy, and while I absolutely loved the story, that ending left me feeling a wee bit dissatisfied. The Alpaca Yarn Incident was a bit unexpected, a sweet with a bit of heat story. There are two that were very well written, but because of my personal history and the state of the world were difficult to read. Diving Into the Wreck and Anything For a Friend were beautiful in their own way. Honestly, if you enjoy seeing how much of a range one writer can have, and you’re looking for a sampler of different forms and types of love, don’t mind some heavy spice and dark things occasionally mixed in, then you need to read this next!
