I was so excited to dive into book two after book one hooked me! No time has passed, and we’re quickly thrown back into Gia’s life and what might be the hardest decision of her life – stay with the mob and choose Luca, or go with clean-cut Adrian who has no ties to her family business. Malloy certainly kept me guessing, and I loved the twists sprinkled in. Gia is still a bit naive, but she’s learning quickly. I loved seeing her grow as a character. There’s a lot of emotion filling these pages, and nothing is quite as it seems as romance and intrigue fill the air in this exciting second installment. Eagerly waiting for book three!
